The Federal University of Goiás (UFG) was established in 1960, and currently has a wide range of undergraduate (145) and graduate (107) programs serving over 28 thousand students.  Located at Goiás state (the "Brazilian Kansas"), UFG is highly committed to the socioeconomic development of Brazil's Midwest

The School of Electrical, Mechanical & Computer Engineering (EMC) of UFG is a professional training center with the production and dissemination of critical, socially committed knowledge through high-quality teaching, cutting-edge research, and community-oriented extension activities​

  

The Center of Excellence in Hydrogen & Sustainable Energy Technologies (CEHTES) at UFG, established in Oct/2023, serves a knowledge hub in the energy sector, bringing together national & international academic leaders while solidifying its status as a regional research epicenter in hydrogen, renewables, and sustainable energy systems
